Uncle Lee visits

Uncle Lee came down to visit baby J for the weekend. We enjoyed having him and I think Daddy especially enjoyed having someone to help entertain the older boys! They cleaned up the yard, washed cars, and went swimming. Uncle Lee even bought us dinner!

More pictures

Everyone has been asking me how the boys reacted to J. They are crazy about him! N was the typical oldest brother... he has been very serious about him, wants to hold him and kiss him all the time. He is always saying, "Baby J is soooo cuyute!" He is very careful with him and keeps talking about all of the things that he is going to teach him!
M had a great reaction to J. He was timid about seeing me in the hospital bed for about 10 seconds and then immediately came up and got on the bed and tried to see the baby. He wanted to touch him and kiss him and is right in his face. He is crazy about him, but not in a gentle, serious way... more like a wild and crazy 3 year old way! Needless to say, we are so happy about his reaction, but watch him very carefully! He doesn't mean to be rough... he is just a rough and tough little boy by nature. Baby J better get ready!

This is one of my favorite pictures... How many adults does it take to change a newborn baby's diaper anyway? It was hilarious to watch!

This is us getting ready to leave the hospital... we were packed up and ready to get home! Jean Mommy made us a fabulous homemade meal for lunch and it was such a treat! We were so thankful to have both sets of grandparents around for the whole week to take care of ALL of us!

This is J on Friday, the 28th... One week old! Happy Birthday, J! He is already changing so much!

Those Jones Boys makes 3!

We are so excited that baby J has arrived! He was born August 21, 2009 at 12:45 p.m. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. We feel so blessed to have another healthy son!

I was induced on Friday morning. We had to be at the hospital between 5:30 and 6. I was immediately taken in. Being induced was a different experience because it was pretty laid back. It worked out perfectly because both sets of grandparents were present and the boys came up to the hospital just in time. My mom and mother in law took N to school and then came up to the hospital with me. The grandfather's had M duty and then picked up N from school, took them to get some food and came up to the hospital. Baby J came pretty quickly so the boys' lunch went from a long playground lunch with Bob-O and Papa Nelson to a quick drive thru eat in the waiting room kind of lunch!

J is a very sweet baby and looks a lot like his brothers. He has N's shape of face and hair, but M's lips and chin. He has his own nose, but has his Daddy's feet!

We are so thankful and excited. What a blessing from the Lord!

N's first day of school

N had his first day of preschool today! He was very excited to be going back to school and very excited about his new school shirt and shoes that he picked out. We decided to hold N back this year, so he is going to Pre-K three days a week. He has a new teacher and is excited about making new friends. I was very excited also that baby J held out long enough for me to take him to his first day!

Picture

This is a sweet picture that I captured last night. J has been wonderful lately about helping me out with the boys (even more than normal!) in the end of my pregnancy. He is such a wonderful father and is never too tired to play with them and spend time together. They adore him and I feel so blessed!

Baby Dinner

Some of my friends surprised me with a dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. I thought we were just going out to eat, but they had cake, flowers and gifts for me. I have been blessed to have made some sweet friends here that have been a good support system. Thank you girls for a fun night!
